The International Association of Korean Lawyers ("IAKL") was established in 1987 when a group of lawyers from Korea and lawyers of Korean descent came together in Seoul to attend an international conference sponsored by the World Peace Through Law Association.

Those lawyers decided to form an organization, IAKL, whose primary purpose is to promote communication, friendship and networking opportunities between lawyers with interests in Korea.

This year's 2008 IAKL Conference will be held in Philadelphia, PA from September 11 - 14, 2008 at the Radisson Hotel.  Further details will be added to this website.
